What you will be doing:

  •  Write Go code to manage location of telco network subscribers, increasing its efficiency and performance
  • Develop Go code to communicate with other telco components and with the admin/user portal
  • Configure network routing using Linux and AWS services
  • Use Gitlab pipelines for tests and deployment, ensuring high-quality code and seamless deployments
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to discuss solutions, share knowledge, and leverage expertise to achieve project goals

What we are looking for:

Main Responsibilities

  • Several years of Go programming experience
  • Experience with Kubernetes API 
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines 
  • knowledge of Linux and experience with network configuration (IP, routing) 
  • Understanding Cloud Engineering principles (networking, deployment, management, monitoring, operations) 
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (i.e. Terraform, CDK) 
  • Self-organized, not afraid of navigating and understanding huge specs 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team 
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience) 

WHAT WILL BE A PLUS:

  • Familiarity with AWS services, such as EC2, CDK, EKS, etc 
  • Previous experience with designing, implement, and managing AWS cloud solutions 
  • Experience in telco-specific realms (mobile core network architecture, 3GPP standards and protocols, low-level packet processing at Linux kernel level or with DPDK)
